In this episode of the "My Morning Cup" podcast, host Mike Costa talks with Wade Hinton, founder and CEO of Hinton and Company about his roots and return to Chattanooga. Wade shares his experiences growing up on the West Side of Chattanooga and how it taught him the importance of community. He also discusses his career as an attorney and his work as Chattanooga's first city attorney of color, as well as his time as Volkswagen's deputy counsel and Unum's first inclusion and diversity officer.

Wade highlights the importance of increasing diversity in the legal profession and promoting inclusion and diversity within organizations. He also shares his passion for creating pathways for underrepresented individuals to have more opportunities, and the importance of shifting thinking to see more people of color in leadership roles.
